Edit: I was pretty stupid, and had no idea that the release of Mechscape was released. However, this is still some interesting stuff.

I thought the proof came when they were quoted saying they've a mmorpg coming out expected in spring of '09?

They've already said that's coming out next year and it's nothing like RuneScape.
