Melee or range iron drags?

I want to go kill iron dragons. I have 79 range, 78 atk str and def and 70 pray. Would it be better to range or melee them? I know my stats arnt quite good enough but im going to try anyway. Dont spam about "Youre not good enough". Just tell me which would be more effective. I aave about 3.2m to spend.

If your on a slayer task, you could *just* manage to scrape by meleeing them, but i would suggest ranging them anyway at your levels on task or not.

Personnaly id melee them, but get them as a slayer task first would help

 

 

 

Whip - use nothing else

 

DFS > Anti-fire shield

 

Slayer helm > Black Mask > Helm of neitzot

 

Pros top&legs > initiate > monk robes

 

Fury > Glory

 

Barrows gloves / Dragon slayer gloves > Combat Bracelet

 

Dragon boots/Bandos boots

 

Trimmed skill cape > God Cloak

 

Your choice of wealth or explorer ring/warrior ring.

 

 

 

Basically go for a really high prayer bonus, prayer flashing is ideal as it really can last trips much longer.

 

 

 

I cant stand ranging those things, even at 85 range

 

 

 

You must use super attack, super strength would help too

especially with 70 prayer

 

my opinion range them to save money on prayer pots

 

although u still have to buy antifires

I also have 9 anti fires and an emergancy tele. Also the gold needed to get into the dungeon. I will get an axe from the pub. Im using addy bolts because I need the accuracy and broad ones wouldnt buy.
