Need Advice...best f2p armour...not played in year or so.

Featured Replies

Hello:

I have not played in over a year...was wondering if rune was best free player armour. I was planning to battle flesh crawlers. most all stats are in 60's. Would like to get my combat stats over into the 70's b4 becoming p2p.

THanks for advice.

Rune is still the best F2P armor, along with tHe stronghold of security boots and the gloves from the Stronghold of Safety. The Safety place is just south of edgeville, and it should take you about 15 minutes to get the gloves and the small xp reward. Green Dhide is still best for ranging. There are several new items that are rewards for the Fist of Guthix mini game that you might want to look up on Tip.It as well.

Wouldn't rune gaunlets from FOg(Fists of guthix) be better?

Looks like I have all of that equip. except the stronghold boots and rune gauntlets...will work on those.

Are the flesh crawlers or spiders the best combat leveling area? Use to be flesh crawlers.

The medium level Cockroaches might be ok for levelling. They are in the stronghold of Player safety.

The other piece of equipment to consider is the ring from the Lumbridge diary.

Run energy recharge (3 times a day for the 3rd level ring).

30 free low alchs per day, good for item disposal.

Unlimited free teleports to the cabbage patch (not sure if you can use while under attack).

For the training area, I would say to stay at the flesh crawlers until 65+ defense, or else your food wont last too long. Flesh crawlers are probably the best F2p combat training monster. For the armor, this is what I use.

i personally preffer spiders over the flesh crawlers, since the spiders auto attack and there are two rooms if they should stop. conserning the equipment i have to agree with the posts before me.
