August 31, 200817 yr The exp is not that much. Couple years ago, someone on these forums got 99 smithing only on cannonballs and it took him like the ENTIRE summer and maybe more, cant remember. The best guess i can give from my memories would be 12k exp per hour, just read that somewhere.

September 1, 200817 yr but can you imagine the profit he made from doing that from last year but is making c balls really that slow?
September 1, 200817 yr Extremely slow. It is ridiculously slow. I forgot how much time it took, but you can idle out twice in one load. The XP is poor. There are far better methods to gain Xp, but it is the most profitable form of smithing now that the Broad Bolts have essentially ruined the mithril market. Possibly bar making is still better, but the hassle of making them is not worth it. Templar GuardiansWhen are trying to lend something, the word to use is borrow. Not barrows, which is a mini-game.
September 1, 200817 yr comparing to smelting c balls with steel is ring of forge with iron ores ==> bars quicker than c balls
