Cinos
I'm wondering whether to buy an sgs, I know the spec heals half hp and a quater pray of what you hit if you hit 20+, and if you hit lower it heals 10hp 5pray a spec. But i'v heard somewhere that if you hit 0 you get nothing restored to you, is this true?
ultimatballr
Saradomin godsword Healing Blade Inflicts normal damage, but restores half of the damage to your Hitpoints and a quarter to your Prayer. You will receive a minimum of 10 Hitpoints and 5 Prayer. I would say that the minimum is if you hit a zero and it goes up from there. I believe I heard that somewhere but cannot give you a 100% sure on that. Apparently, my signature was to big.

toast647
if u it zero, u get no hp heal, but 5pray heal anyway Well actually you can still get the 5 pray/10 hp heal by hitting 0. My friend explained it to me, you can hit a 0, and you can hit a 0.5 or something but it won't round up. So it still has a chance of healing you if you hit that 0.5 Come to #tip-it on Swift IRC, if you're cool

The way I think it works is every time you swing, the game goes "did he miss?" using a formula that takes into account attack and weapon accuracy and whatnot. Then, if that comes up "no," it calculates damage based on slash bonus and strength level and bonus and all that. However, it's possible to roll a hit rather than a miss, and then get such terrible numbers on the strength part that it's still a 0. The SGS still takes it as a hit, but no damage is dealt.
