Whats wrong with mining?

Well, I think you know the answer most'll give you. The answer is simply that there's NOTHING WRONG with going for 99 mining. In fact, it shows you have more determination than those taunting you.

 

 

 

But I found those type of people just plain stupid. Once I told a person I was going for 99 construction and he said that I wasn't rich, so I obviously couldn't make it. That's like saying that a miner going for 99 mining doesn't have a pickaxe. As I said before, they're just plain stupid and should be ignored.

Perhaps the reason you get comments like that has more to do with your general attitude.

 

 

 

Judging from some of your previous posts, you call people noobs if they disagree with you, you insist that the granite rocks are YOUR rocks and hate anyone else who has the temerity to mine them.

 

 

 

There is nothing wrong with wanting 99 in mining (or any other skill), so the comments might be related to your attitude rather than your ambition per se.

Mining is perhaps the hardest non-combat skill to train and anyone with a 99 is worthy.

 

 

 

In the past, I loathed people who had say... 40 mining and 80 smithing. Almost entirely from RWT or something of that sort. Now people buy their ores or bars, much more of a worthy cause. But my best regards go to the people who do it all on their own. I try as well, almost 70 mining :D

Mining, in my opinion, is one of those great skills that shows that you have alot of patience. If people don't like that and make fun of you for your goal, they are just jealous because they have tried and failed, but you are just starting.. Good luck with it. =D>
