paul_wilson Posted June 18, 2005 Share Posted June 18, 2005 im looking to buy a new computer but even though i know a fair bit ab out computers in not to good with hardware so what roughly would i need. im on a tight budget and not sure all the parts i will need or what parts are compatible. im looking for about a 2.8ghz CPU and 60gb hard drive and thats about all i know any help will be much appreciated First and only pixel thinger I made. Z12 lenmark printer i want somthing that will run games like battle feild 1942 and veitnam. Is that achevable with my budget? First and only pixel thinger I made. magekillr Posted June 21, 2005 Share Posted June 21, 2005 so thats like 460 to 540 US dollars well...i built this system... 500 watt modular powersupply full tower case...(best case ive ever had) 2 led blue fans 3.0 Ghz prescot P4 ASUS P4S800-MX Socket 478 SIS 661FX Micro ATX Intel Motherboard 1 GB 3100 DDR RAM 120 GB EIDE HDD Asus 5200 card...dont know exact specs i had a mouse, monitor, keyboard, speakers, printer already all that came to like 750.00 US dollars...shipping included i dont know of Australian computer stores...but i use Newegg and Tigerdirect...which are US and Canada Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
