buying a new pc

im looking to buy a new computer but even though i know a fair bit ab

 

 

 

out computers in not to good with hardware so what roughly would i need.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

im on a tight budget and not sure all the parts i will need or what parts are compatible. im looking for about a 2.8ghz CPU and 60gb hard drive and thats about all i know

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

any help will be much appreciated

What country are you from?

 

 

 

What kit do you have already? (monitor, speakers etc)

600-700$ australian

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

at the moment i have 40gb harddrive 1000mhz intel celron cpu. 17" screen. crappy speakers that cost like 5$. Z12 lenmark printer

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

i want somthing that will run games like battle feild 1942 and veitnam. Is that achevable with my budget?

i dont know of Australian computer stores...but i use Newegg and Tigerdirect...which are US and Canada

Try finding a used computer. Usually if you are on a very tight budget thats the way to go.

I would seriously seriously seriously avoid used computers. It's kind of like buying used underwear. You don't know what could be lurking.
