Pk'ers realized that if their opponent eats all the time, there's no chance of them getting a kill.

 

So they all got together, and decided to come up with some demeaning term to pressure their prey into not eating.

 

 

 

Opponents not eating often = more KO's = more kills

 

 

 

I think the actual definition is eating when your hitpoints are over your opponents max hit - not sure though :S

 

But more than half of the people who use the term 'safe' or 'safer' are 'safers' themselves.

 

 

 

I wouldn't worry about it.

 

Eat when you don't feel comfortable at your hitpoints level.

It's common in BH, and seeing as BH is not very respected, due to the Pilejumping and stuff, I'd say that the meaning of 'Safer' is pointless

safing is eating when ur not in danger. it is ok to eat at 15 hp since ur opponent has max 15 but it isnt logical to eat at 35hp. play how u want. some pkers say it so that u wont get angry and ull stop eating. and then they ko u. if u just want to keep doing wat u r fine. its just a term tho.

Given that in memebers we now have weapons that hit over 78 (AGS) or 91 (Dharoks), eating at anything below half health is illogical. Safer is now a rarely used term, and in general is a 'smart' thing to do - at high level membs, I frequently hit much faster then my opponent can eat. Thank the 'power creep' of members weapons.
