i dyed my top and bottom robe black with teh mushrooms

 

and i have my darklight with me

 

and when i talk to evil bog again, he still says i'm not dressed evil and then i say i'm evil i ndisguise..

 

conversation over and i didn't join the group!

 

i took off all items except for the robes

 

equiped/unequiped darklight, but nothing works..

 

did i miss something?

Have you checked your quest diary? What does it say there is your next step in the quest?

I need to infiltrate the group of dark wizards led by Denath, so that i can be in position to kill Agrith-Naar when tehy summon it

 

doesn't help me much :wall: :?

i've heard people having problems with this, you may not be wearing enough black things, or they arent "dark enough"

 

 

 

i wore full black armor from heroes with darklight and it worked fine

Hmm, try doing what Sunli said above (check your quest log) and then try wearing as much black clothes as you can find, such as black armour.

Let me snip and glue what the quest database says from step 4:

 

 

 

4. Talk to Father Badden located in the ruins and ask him what you need to do. He asks you to infiltrate the group of Denath.

 

 

 

5. Go east and find the stairs down into the ruins.

 

Once inside preceed north to the gates and talk to Evil Dave. Ask him if you can join the group and tell him that you are evil. However he says you don't look evil.

 

 

 

5. Find some black mushrooms and use one of them on your Pestle and Mortar while having an Empty vial in your inventory. Use the resulting black ink dye on your Silverlight.

 

 

 

6. Wear your 'evil' clothes that you brought, if you brought desert robes you can dye them black by using pestle and mortar on a black mushroom when you have a vial in your inventory. Use the result dye on your clothes. You will need 1 black dye for each piece of clothing.

 

Talk to Evil Dave again. He will let you inside the Throne Room. Note that you don't need to use the evil clothes after this to get to the Throne Room. ps, tricks & notes:

 

 

 

- Evil clothes: Black Mystic clothes, Priest Gown, Shade Robes, Ghost Robes, Farseer Helm, Black Wizard Robes, Black Armour (not trimmed), mime boots, black cape and dyed desert clothes. Main rule is: Any color that you like as long as it's black! (The black beret is one exception.)

 

 

 

Are you wearing a black cape? If you have missed a step in the quest you cant continue, so make sure you have done everything asked of you.
