A Question About Charms

I was just wondering.

 

 

 

I know that for the first few levels of summoning, you can use gold charms on it.

 

 

 

For example.

 

 

 

Spirit wolf set + 1 gold charm = 1 spirit wolf pouch.

 

 

 

And higher level creatures require higher level charms.

 

 

 

But the question is, can I use, say, a crimson charm on a gold monster, and have the charm be worth more, etc?

only the specific type of charm works with certain monsters, it says what type of charm you need in the summoning guide.

 

cant use any other charms.

 

its like saying can i use rune or to make steel bars and just get more xp?

No, if a familiar requires a crimson charm, it requires a crimson charm. You can't substitute.

its not hard to get 275 gold charms really.

 

theyre easily and quickly obtainable from many monsters.

Hunt for crimsons, you'll get gold along the way.
