I was wondering if i should get the inferno adze...

 

 

 

1. Is the Adze worth the time and effort to get 92 fm?

 

 

 

2. I have enough cash for mple etc, should i buy willows for cheapness or maples for faster exp?

 

 

 

3. once i get 92 should i just shoot for 99 rather than keep it there?

All depends on wether or not you want the skillcape or not. 99FM is a useless skill. Its literaly BURNING MONEY. But i would say just go for 99FM. If you are looking for a easy 99skill, FM is the way to go.

m not neccesarily (sp) interested in a cape but if you think i should then i might : i dont have a 99 as of yet, onyl a smelly quest cape -.-

Well i tried going for 99FM from lvl 50. I only got to lvl 68FM and realised how mindnumbing boring it was....Soooo if you have patiance(sp) and time then sure, go ahead. And goodluck.

It is worth it. The Inferno Adze can be very helpful. If you have the patience and money for 99 fm, use maples.

By getting Adze you used up 3 bank space because of the firemaking cape and ring.

 

Even if you want to use Adze to replace rune pickaxe or dragon axe it is not worth it.

 

 

 

Adze = Rune Pickaxe, but if you lose a rune pick you can buy it easily again, if you lose an Adze you need to do the whole mini game again.

 

 

 

Adze = Dragon Axe (In terms of woodcutting strength)

 

Dragon Axe > Adze (In terms of woodcutting effectiveness)

 

 

 

Reason is, Adze burn out your logs when you cut the trees. I simply prefer my mage logs / yew logs over firemaking exp. It is only useful if you intend to cut the logs and use it for firemaking.

 

 

 

So my answer is no.

From your level to 92 Firemaking you need 66,699 Willow or 44,466 Maple

 

 

 

Cost of Maples: 1,697,308 gp

 

Cost of Willow: 1,200,582 gp

 

 

 

(if choose Maples)

 

Difference in cost: 496,726gp

 

Difference in logs need to burn: 22,233

 

 

 

The amount of time save if you choose maples is pricless, if you are so concern about money might just as well do Maples + A few hours of runecrafting and you will make up the money loss and also spend less time on burning.

 

 

 

3. once i get 92 should i just shoot for 99 rather than keep it there?

 

 

 

quest cape > firemaking cape

 

it is not worth the money, unless you already have all the items you want than go ahead and burn your money than.
