For some reason the quality is really, really bad..but I didn't make it like that.

The flow from the white to the red doesn't really work for me, looks like you just pasted the red back there. the name could also us some work. overall ok

It's not bad for a first sprite signature, but I don't really like the white cloud-ish thing either. The C4D effects/background are decent, it flows quite well, but it looks a bit messy. Trying to make effects and background look smooth and clean is usually the way to go with sprites. Also, having the focal point (the sprite in this case) in the middle doesn't work that well most of the time, use the Rule of Thirds.

 

 

 

It's not bad though, you seem to have quite a good knowledge of the basics.
