I did the haunted mine quest a while back (eer......3 years :roll: ) and lost my salve ammy awhile back. So now that I want to get another (or very many more) I'm having troubles gettin back down into the bottom of the mine to get more. Using the quest guide hasn't helped much, any advice, or has anyone else done it and knows what to do?

You have to go through the maze again (the annoying part with the glowing mushroom) which is explained well in the guide. While there, drop the mined shards (you can not mine more if you have some in your inventory allready) and pick them up later. Make sure you have enough of them so you " never" have to go down there again.

I'm with the OP, did the quest when it came out three years ago.

 

 

 

If you mine the shards en mass, can you also enchant all of them? I've never done the enchant quest, so I have no clue if I just said something stupid.

Ok, thanks, I was hoping to avoid getting the glowing mushroom again *sigh*. At least I can get very many in one go.
