How to Merge in GIMP?

Featured Replies

Ok i used some sites from a thread i made a bit back and i managed to make signature background using GIMP brushes.

But now i have encountered a problem: How do i merge a picture with the background?

Example of what i mean:

Mario Character (Picture)+Black Signature Background=Merged=Mario is on the background.

How do i do this please?????

Illustration highly appriated

You open the Mario pic and your black background, both in GIMP, then you copy the Mario and paste it on black background. Then you get the selection, if you are done with that, press the anchor layer on layers dialog.

I hope you understood that, but it is messy, I know.

So I've noticed this thread's regulars all follow similar trends.

RPG is constantly dealing with psycho exes.

Muggi reminds us of the joys of polygamy.

Saq is totally oblivious to how much chicks dig him.

I strike out every other week.

Kalphite wages a war against the friend zone.

Randox pretty much stays rational.

Etc, etc
