Money/item management and slayer points question

Hi, I'm considering buying a saradomin godsword, I think I can get this for min price in the ge (42.7m)

 

I currently have 15m and all of this stuff which I don't mind selling:

 

 

 

 

This makes me a little short but I also have guthans and dfs which I want to keep but could sell in order to buy sgs. I'm not worried about the trade picture because I'll make everything except the flax, bowstrings and ore back again and they just sit in my bank.

 

 

 

So is it worth selling these things (focussing mainly on the dfs and guthans here) or should I keep them and save until I can afford the sgs without selling dfs or guthans? If you have any other suggestions please let me know.

91 attack, 89 strength, 89 defence, 92 hitpoints and I fight what duradel tells me to. The other thing about having both dfs and sgs is I either have a very expensive special weapon or a very expensive shield for iron dragon tasks, other than dragon tasks would I ever be using a godsword over the whip?

 

 

 

One more edit lol. After I buy learning how to make the slayer helm and have all my slayer tasks blocked what should I spend the points on?

Assuming sgs is 42~48m, guthans is 4.5~5.5m, dfs is 13~17m, and you have 30m cash, I'll say this..

 

 

 

If you're using a dfs with whatever armor you're wearing while using guthans for healing it won't be much for sgs, since it's a 2h weapon anyway. Trash this first ... but you might want to check how the GE's doing with it since the massive drop in late August.

 

 

 

As for guthans, saradomin gs's spec recovers very high amounts of hp and prayer assuming you have good stats to begin with; You'll have to do trial + error with yoru armors plus a borrowed sgs to see how fast you can heal HP with spec (and prayer, if necessary), and to see how many times you can do so in an allocated time; in other words, can you heal at about the same rate that you get hit? In this case you might have to up certain armors, IE barrows legs against dragon legs and fury vs glory.

 

 

 

So if you sell both and all the stuff you have in that trade window there, you'll have well over the amount for an sgs. The rest is based on a personal prefrence.

Sell your Guthans because having an sgs is like having Guthans.

 

Also sell all that stuff in your pic because you can easily get it back.

 

Keep the DFS unless you need to sell it for the money.

 

 

 

EDIT: Spend your slayer points on the other things that can be learnt then buy Slayer Dart runes and sell them or use them in barrows.
