once in a while i get a pretty strange message from my security software. It's like "you computer was prevented from accesing blah blah blah...." This only occurs when i'm on tip.it. I had this for a pretty long time now so i'm sure i don't get this if i'm not on tip.it

Has anyone else got anything similar? Any chances that I have some virus-thingy, which is trying to open a pop-up or something? Or is it just my firewall gone mad and blocking innocent stuff?

 

 

 

Here's teh blocked url DON'T GO THERE, that's just for folks who might know this site (the url actually doesn't look like spyware, more like some adversiting stuff) :roll:

That site is not bad. The reason why it's flagged is because people create domain names leading to spyware infected sites, and they ruin it for everyone else. I'm telling you right now, that site is safe because I use it myself sometimes if I want to have a shorter URL.

[Censored for time being] is a URL shortening site. It isn't a spyware site, although it could be used for that.

People also use [Censored for time being] a lot when they want to hide URLs with affiliate links.
