Partyhats, where did they go?

Featured Replies

Not sure if this has been picked up on, but I just got back to RS from 3 weeks ago.

On the frontpage of the Grand Exchange (http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/frontpage.ws), there is a most valuable traded items. The last time I looked, partyhats dominated this list. But now only the purple partyhat (the cheapest) is listed. Yet when searching the grand exchange (http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/results.ws?query=%22partyhat%22&price=all&members=)the others appear with prices that should allow them to be first on that list. Why has Jagex removed partyhats from their place of honour?

Sure it allows players to see more of the more valuable items, but players could previously use the top 100 list (http://itemdb-rs.runescape.com/top100.ws?list=1&scale=0) for this purpose. Now partyhats dont even appear on that list (except for, once again, the purple one).

Why is Jagex misdirecting us?

The list is taken from the previous day, so, the other party hats and crackers weren't sold yesterday.

Partyhats were replaced by useful items...God Swords, God Armor, and now with latest quests Spirit Shields and Elixers as the most sought after items. Rares are nice to have (love my Santa), but people have changed their way of thinking when it comes to spending cash:

Item that is useful...or item that is useless.

Items that have a purpose will always dominate "Fluff" items.
