Annoying Farming Bug

Featured Replies

This happening to anyone else? It's been an extremely long time since I've planted the seeds, but they still haven't grown! This isn't normal, it's like their timers froze.

The first 3 times were with fruit trees, pineapples (5), then papayas (10). 5 per trip. Each time, non of them "matured". I was paying for all of them. I was about 18-24 hours until they grew, while they're supposed to grow in 14.5.

Now today, the same happened with my herbs. I planted them at about 12:30 EST, at 2:00 they haven't grown. In fact they STILL haven't grown.

I've planted HUNDREDS of herb seeds and MANY, MANY trees and it's only happened these 4 times.

This is a very annoying bug, and Jagex needs to fix this asap.

Hmm, that is weird *scratches chin*

lol, well to bad for u  when u planted the herbs, was it only in like 1 certain herb patch or several?

Just like the trees, in all of them.

And no, it ain't disease. I haven't touched plant cure in months and NEVER do runs to check for disease.

If trees get diseased and are watched he cures it so you can get set back there but for herbs I'm not sure.

My herbs are fine, it's just my fruit tree's.

I used to be able to make a decent profit from growing Ranarrs but now because of this same bug I can't be bothred anymore.

I swear after about 5 hours they hadn't grown so I just thought "Right forget it, i'm off".

So I went out running, came back 20 MINUTES LATER and they were dead.

It doesn't just happen in one patch either, it's all of them.

Not a glitch.

When you pay for farmers to look after your trees, they cure any diseases that the trees suffer from. However, every disease adds time to thei growth counter (30 minutes if I remember correctly). Therefore, it would stand to reason that you are planting these trees without supercompost and are not sufficently leveled to do so OR got really unlucky OR possibly a mixture.

Edit: My advice is to use supercompost if you need the trees to grow in a hurry. An extra 1k isn't going to break your bank if you can afford to be spamming fruit trees. Personally, I don't add compost because I only regrow my trees once every day or so and am not in a big hurry for them to grow. I've experienced your "glitch" a couple times when I returned to my Papaya's within 16 hours, so I know that this is your problem.
