As a new member what should I do? I have already done Lost City, nearly done Fsihing Contest, and have gotten thieving to 3. What other important things are left? I just got membership today.

Do a bit of questing(Priest in peril, Tree gnome, Grand tree) so you can unlock new places.

 

Train a bit of your member skills, I recommend agility as it really helps with other skills.

You need to do a lot more quests. Keep questing. In addition to those mentioned above, try Fairy Tale Part 1 and 2 to unlock fairy rings. (You don't need to train your stats all the way up for the demanding skill requirements of part 2, you can just go halfway through and get the bulk of the reward.) Fremennik Trials would be a good plan too.

Druidic Ritual, Wolf Whistle, Jungle Potion, Monkey Madness, Priest In Peril, Nature Spirit, Freminik Trials / Isles, Grand Tree, Tree Gnome Village.

The furnace on Neitiznot is better. (Partial completion of Fremennik Isles required.) You should still do Ghosts Ahoy though, because you get a nice handy ectophial.
