OK, so I became a member on Saturday. I decided, after foing a little slayer, to go and get a fighter torso. It didn't seem that hard, I mean, loads of people had one. My friend said he got it in a day (12 hours playing, admittedly), and he had a bad team. So I got my games necklace, went off to BA and did the tutorial. I decided to tackle what I thought would be the hardest first, Defender. I was right. It is disgusting - I have looked at the guide on tip.it and am going to try some new strategies tommorow, BUT I cannot believe how annoying it is. I have 150 points. I would be aroun 250 but twice I was quit on in games were I actually did well.

 

 

 

And it gets worse. People don't call. I myself will always call, even if I don't need to. It's just a habit. But do people do the same for me? NO. I cannot believe the rudeness of some people. And then, when I'm the last left, the healer comes up to me and says "do u no hw t play?". I was about to rip my hair out.

 

 

 

But, alas, I will get the torso, even if it kills me. Which it most definitely will. Multiple times. And when I do get it, I'll probably be too afraid to wear it because it took so long to get it! And it's got a destroy option! So fraught with problems.......

Why not organize it as a clan event or something? So you can enjoy it with friends instead of stress out?

Because I still wouldn't be any good, there's only so much a good team can do. Besides, I don't think too many people like this game.

I completely understand how you feel. Though I did not have a hard as time as you slipping into the Defender role, I do have equal problems with people just refusing to call and team leaders who don't know what a good team configuration is. It's enough to drive any half decent BA player insane. :wall: :evil:

 

 

 

My advice is don't even stick around for teams who don't call, even if it's one player, just leave and find a new one even if it's mid game. Don't waste your time. And being Defender will become much more natural to you once you get a rythym down, don't worry.

I know what you mean. Most players scream at you for using the cannon. And when your a collecter you have all of theese useless eggs.
