October 14, 200817 yr I was looking through some of the merchanting guides, and the more i read, the more pointless it becomes. I read that you could only buy/sell 25k of runes at a time. So if I decided to buy 25k fire runes at 9gp and sell them off for 10 gp four hours later, i would only make 25k in that four hours, when i could make alot more just cutting willows! Is there a way around this or have i just been fed false information. Hapymo Hapymo

October 14, 200817 yr Author ok thanks i was wondering if the 25k limit is for one slot only? so if i have 6 slots then 6x25= 150k.. that would be slightly better The fire runes were just an example : Hapymo

October 14, 200817 yr You can buy like 100 rune platebody's, 100 rune platelegs, 100 rune kites, 100 rune full helms, 100 rune scimitars and so on
October 14, 200817 yr Don't forget, you still have to take into account that the runes *continue* to be bought even after you have logged out, so while its only 25k an hour, its still 25k an hour, 24/7. Although I don't think fire runes would be the best things to merch... I tried and failed...
October 14, 200817 yr yeah fire runes have no chance. Ive had 10k in there at lowest for 3 weeks before they even started to sell. October 14, 200817 yr The best merchanting takes place over a few days. I Suggest you go to the GE Charts on the website, and look for a popular item that's going up. Invest in it and sell in a few days when it either a) Hits its peak, then starts to drop B) Sell for higher than you got it. 4 Hours? October 14, 200817 yr Author ok i had a look at the website i saw that pure essence was in the top 5 of most traded, then looked at its exchange history and the price seems to be going up, would it be wise to invest in this then sell it, lets say, a week or two later? (or as it just starts to decline in price after its peak) yeah the fire runes idea i got from it being one of the most traded items and it was at a fairly low price. : Hapymo
October 16, 200817 yr Don't neccesarily look for the Top 5 most traded items. Type in the searchbar for popular items, and see how their price is doing. Pure essence is a safeone, as long as you can runecraft nature runes. If the ess falls dramatically, you can always make them into nats and sell them.
