Well, i'm not 100% sure, but if your a member and you put almost all your money into your kingdom and afterwards become a non-member, your workers don't do anymore work for you do they?

you approval rating as you call it favor would jsut keep going down over the days so you would not make as much profit as you would at 100% approval rating

They DO work, but you have no way to raise that favor to a good percentage. My advice: take the money out of the coffers.

its based on how much you have in there, but what they are saying is that you lose favor from your kingdom every day by 1% each day. the lower it goes, the less supplies you will get
