Peronix
It's kind of starting to piss me off tbh. Every time I minimize the window RuneScape is currently playing in (both firefox and IE), when I bring it back the whole applet is blank and there's no way to get it to come back. It happens regardless of weather or not I'm logged in. Okay, so just don't minimize it, right? That's fine and good, but while trying to use Microsoft's virtual desktop manager the same thing happens; when I switch back to the desktop RS is playing in it's completely BLANK. Is there any way to fix this?
Sbrideau
Is your Java up to date?
Peronix
Is your Java up to date? Yeah, pretty sure it is. I'm using JRE 6 Update 10. According to the Java website I'm using a version that is "Newer than the current version available on Java.com", what the implications of that are, I don't know. Sounds like you're using a version of Java that's still in beta somewhat. :-k ... I suggest reverting to JRE 6 Update 6 if you wish to have as little trouble as possible with Java. (BTW, yes, that's the version I'm using here, and having no issues with it.) I'm able to minimize and restore repeatedly without any ill effects whatsoever. :) As a tip: When trying to remain secure, try to avoid sacrificing compatibility. You will be much more happy, and you will not have to deal with so many of those "cutting-edge" bugs. : ~D. V. "Max compatibility + Max security = Perfection." Peronix
Thanks for your help, but I solved the problem without reverting back... By simply clicking in the applet after it's gone blank. It reverts back to normal. I feel stupid now. :wall: I could have sworn I've tried that before and it didn't work...
