Average

Noun

The usual or ordinary kind or quality: Although the wines vary, the average is quite good.

Average encompasses the majority of games on the system. Obviously the quotation marks arn't used as exact, to the letter, quotations just as a gist of what you said. Don't pull that misquotation crap.

Lock-on targeting is a bad thing? Not having to deal with the horrid complications of dual-analog controls. Making games hard shouldn't come form giving it ball-breakingly hard controls, it should come from the game itself. A concept lost on every platform.

When did I say lock-on targeting was a bad thing? Don't assume, it won't get you anywhere. I said it makes a game easier, and less potential for multiplayer. You did mis-quote, and I can use dictionary.com too!

As for what Fable did, it was like a virtual city with rules which was the part I found the best. Breaking a window was charged for vandlism, stealing, etc. Plus you could start families, cheat on people, kill people and marry their wives, etc. But it didn't just focus on this, it still had a strong combat system with archy and magic and the storyline was great with a nice map and quests.

you implied that lock-on targeting was a bad thing when you said that it makes games easier

and when you said easy games arn't necessarily the best

and s/he quoted you saying

"All Nintendo games are easy. Play X-Box and PS2 games."

it was not misquoted

it was taken out of context

as what you are doing is diverting attention away from nintendo to the x-box and ps2, although this may be inadmisibly(right word? whatever, on accident)

I said auto-aim like in Metroid Prime makes the game easier and an alternative option would of been nice.

He exaggerated what I said. It was not a direct quote, which made his whole arguement pretty much useless.

Also, about the new Zelda, am I the only one who thinks it looks really similiar to Fable? I mean graphically, gameplay, and controls.

Lol, I bet you are the only one. Fable is a proper RPG, in what you get experience, and from what i've seen doesn't have the dark atmosphere of the new Zelda. And one big point: the new Zelda will be good, Fable wasa typical terrible Xbox RPG.

I'm not going to get into a Nintendo angry fanboy against Xbox angry fanboy argument, but Fable did deliver alot of new RPG elements that effected the video game industry.

Anyways, to rephrase what I said, they do seem similiar to me. The bow and arrow system you can target (or go into free First Person mode). The main combat is hack n' slash. And graphically, Zelda is supposed to be "darker", but they look about the same quality.

Since this post has become a battle of many quotes, I have to ask you something: what new things did Fable deliver? And the similarities you mentioned all point to Fable ripping them off Zelda. All those features have been in Zelda games from 1998...
