June 30, 200521 yr If you see the world select screen, it has to be a Java problem because the page you load has the Java Applet in it...try uninstalling the java application you installed (Microsoft Java, SUN Java, etc...) After that, a nice java application would be SUN Java. (http://java.sun.com) Hope this works out. By the way, installing a new java object won't destroy anything.
July 1, 200520 yr Nah, he said he couldn't see the world select screen. So, If you're running on a dialup-connection, it will be slow to load, considering the amount of requests that Runescape gets. The page sometimes takes a long time to load for me, also, because I'm on dialup, and I can best access it when the requests are low, around 3:00am in the night, but around the afternoon time, 5:00pm, I can't access the world select screen in a quick time, because my connection is too slow, and Runescape's server speeds are slowing down from all of the requests. Solution: Possibally wait until a time when not a lot of people are playing, and it will load quickly. If you can't do that, then wait it out. Sometime's I've noticed that if I restart my pc it'd work, which probbably has some deal to do with my dialup modem.
July 1, 200520 yr NO NO NO!!!! all wrong i had this problem a day ago what u need to do is see the 2 computer screens down in ure taskbar, right click it and go to Repair and click on it. It should now work fine. Oww and P.S. Lorddragonxx change ure sig. it a family friendly forum :x That just closes your internet connection and starts it again... Not exactly a universal cure. Good if our internet doesn't work at all though.

Good if our internet doesn't work at all though. no it dosnt just close and start ure conextion it also clears DNS cache and other things which then fixes the problem as i had this and it works.. go read the official runescape forum Aussie Aussie Aussie, :D
