SnWRifleman
I would say this is the best time to start one, because of the Halloween Event. Free 10 genie lamps from the quest and it's very easy. Don't miss out on it :P Main: Snw rifleman - FINISHED DESERT TRESURE 11/5/08 WOO Just your typical asian who likes to play games =)
awesome400
why? they give 10xp x lvl therefore if its lvl 1 you get hmmmm 10xp??? 1100 total achieved 03/02/09 880thousandth to reach it :P1200 total achieved 29/09/11 1.23millionth to reach it :P
Sindarin00
It's like 10* your level in that skill... Hm... Level 1 x 10 = 10 exp..... Using the first 9 soups to get 90 exp, plus 20 exp for last soup... 110 XP.... 1 whole level... /FAIL [hide=Drops]Barrows: Ahrim's Robeskirt (2) Dragon: Plateskirt (3) : Left Halfs (2) : Med Helm (1) : Boots (14) : Spear (3)Treasure Trails: Sara Platebody (1) Slayer: Leaf Bladed Sword (9) : Granite Helm (3) : Granite Maul (1) : Black Mask (3) : Abyssal Whip (2)Other: Obby Cape (1) : Obby Maul (2)Splits: Shield Left Half (1) : Dragon Med Helm (4)[/hide]
SnWRifleman
I never said to use it right away. I'm saying use it when you actually get a skill up and the xp to the next level ratio is good. Sigh... Sindarin00
The most XP you could ever get from them is 9900.... are you really going to wait that long carrying goulash to drink it.... It is a quest, so it will be available to members afterwards... Captainkidd
Well, first I'd use all your lamps (that you get from the guy fighting the dragon) and the goulash on HP, as it's the most important level to a pure. Also I'd suggest not to level prayer (depending on if your making a F2P or P2P pure). ~ Captainkidd

SnWRifleman
Well Prayer can actually be useful in F2p too. If you plan on BHing it's good to get 31 for Ultimate Strength. World PvP in F2p is good too, since there are alters on every corner. Idk it's all about opinion.. Sindarin00
I mean you could do it.. But for that little XP... it would be quicker just to train your skills instead... That's what I think! SnWRifleman
Well that's why I'm saying to do it now. Instead of waiting till the last day of the event, you can train your skills and get more xp. Sindarin00
The highest you would be able to get a skill in that time is maybe 60... i mean it is 6k exp, but for the amount of time it takes to do the event... you could make more than 6k exp..... Kellis
For strength 1 point of damage = 4 exp. Thus, your bowl of goulash saves you 2.5 points of damage. 10 goulash bowls = killing 4 cows. Verdict: not worth it. For prayer, 1 bone = 4.5 exp. Thus, your bowl of goulash saves you 2.1-ish bones. 10 goulash bowls = about 21 bones. Verdict: not worth it. Genie lamps/goulash aren't any good for leveling. They're merely useful for getting a small boost every now and then in a hard-to-train skill. It saves like 20 minutes of training in hp or strength or mage, and if mage, might save you a couple K on runes. I just made a new PKer, and got him up to level 60 in the two weeks that this quest has been around! I can see I need another 20k experience to make it to 61, so I'll use these 10 goulashes on it for a total of 6k experience! Awesome!" Think about what you're suggesting. The goulash saves you 30 minutes to an hour on training hp, and it takes like 10 minutes to do if you know how to do it. All you have been doing is flaming on my thread, and is not wanted. I'm giving advice for people, and if it does not apply to you, then please get out. lcchs
unfortunately it will take longer then 20mins to finish the quest, and that is even if u have done the quest on ur main. and i knew that u would get flammed for giving this advice
matrix2613
Well, the goolash gave me 5.5k prayer xp. As me being f2p, it saved me from burying 367 big bones, at 400 each would be 146k. The quest took me 15 minutes to do but get free xp in a skill that is really expensive. I do not think that it is a waste of xp, but at the same time I don't think its sutable for a pure with 10-25 stats, as that only 1k-2.5k xp, but I guess its better then nothing. Stop flamming the poor guy lol, he was just trying to help. woot. You are one with the matrix.
