October 31, 200817 yr Well it's been a while since my last attempt and was just wondering on a few things, does anyone recommend I train to 85 range? If I was 85 range should I use full armadyl? or the veracs method? Please do not post any guide links, I have read them. October 31, 200817 yr 85 range would certainly make it much easier and faster, but you need to ask yourself whether you wanna spend the time going to 85 range. it IS possible for u to do the caves with 74 range without armadyl or veracs even. i did it with black dhide and a dinky archer helm. i didn't have any prayer bonus whatsoever and my prayer level is 62. i was 89 range though. the only really difficult part is jad, the waves are easy to manage if you know how to block mobs behind other mobs and if u know most of the safe spots. jad is all about concentration, the ability to think despite having your nerves on the verge of shattering, and knowing how to deal with the lvl 108 healers. 74 range is enough, but that just means you'll be fighting jad longer which means you'll have to stay under those stressful conditions longer.
October 31, 200817 yr Since you have 70 prayer I doubt youd need the prayer bonus from veracs so id go with armadyl or a mixture of both, andyou really dont need 85 range but itll only make it easier. Quit. PM me if you play The Conduit to exchange friend codes.
October 31, 200817 yr I did guthans for my first 6 capes, worked wonders. It allowed for mess ups, too. But if you can get to Jad with no problem, stats don't really matter (as much) at a certain point. [Summoning guide (AOW)] [Slayer guide] [Melee & Brawl player]
