Ive given it some thought, and I've decided I want to get a fire cape. My range is 82 and my prayer is 70. I will NOT be using guthans. The equiptment I am about to mention is the things I will very likely be bringing. If I dont mention it, then tell me what to bring in that slot.

 

Head:

 

Amulet:Glory

 

Weapon:Rune crossbow

 

Chest:

 

Ammo:Broad bolts for waves, diamond(e) for Jad

 

Shield:Book of Balance

 

Legs:

 

Gloves:Black d'hide vamps (only have rune gloves from RFD)

 

Boots:Snakeskin

 

Ring:

Veracs helm for Helm

 

Blessed D'hide(I believe provides prayer bonus) for your body

 

Veracs skirt for Legs

 

Archer's Ring for Ring spot

 

 

 

Otherwise you are good to go, I might suggest looking at guides, there are some pretty useful ones at the AOW.

Head: Verac's helm, the prayer and defence is useful.

 

Chest: Karil's top/blessed d hide

 

Legs: Verac's / Karil's skirt. I did it with Verac's but I always had 3-4 super restores left over, so you may want to go with Karil's/blessed d'hide.

 

Ring: Archer ring, or any other stat boosting ring.

 

 

 

You also may want a granite or obby shield instead of the book, the rangers hit hard.

Im fairly sure that blessed d'hide doesnt provide prayer bonus. I might be wrong though. Also could I get some ideas for inventory?

Inventory:

 

 

 

- Second set of bolts

 

- 3 (4) dose rangers pots

 

- 7-8 (4) dose sara brews

 

- Fill rest with super restores.

17 super restores

 

2 Range potions

 

8 Brews

 

 

 

EDIT: Some other items that you can use that would be upgrades would be fury instead of glory, and Ranger boots instead of snakeskin boots. Not items that are neccessary but if you have the extra cash it wouldnt hurt. Dont bother if you dont have the money, they are not really neccessary anyways.

Seriously, take three range pots.
