Suggestion: The Battle Arena

Featured Replies

Overview: This is a SAFE minigame that features five rounds of combat against randomly generated NPCs, often with three or four monsters attacking you at once. By winning, you receive points which you can redeem for some fantastic new equipment, as well as three new level 99 spells.

Getting started: The Battle Arena is located underneath the GE, accessible through a ladder. There are several wandering bankers in the area, in addition to the usher. Speak to the usher to begin a tournament. To cash in your points, you right-click the usher and select Spend Points.

The gauntlet: In rounds one through four, you may face off against just about any monster in the game, often with several foes at once. The monsters you have to fight are randomly chosen from the list below. The first four rounds are consecutive, meaning that you do not have a chance to bank to replenish your supplies. However, after completion of the fourth round, you DO get a chance to restock in preparation for the final round. The fifth round features a fight against one of the well-known bosses of RS: kalphite queen, any of the DKs, the KBD, or any of the GWD bosses. To complicate things, each round you will be penalized by having a certain ability removed for the remainder of the gauntlet. It IS possible for the wheel to choose not to penalize you. Note that if you die, you are awarded points for the rounds you completed, but not the current one in which you died. The penalty system acts as a multiplier for points, thus the harsher the penalty, the greater amount of points you will win.

Could be a fun game, perhaps a team oriented version with more difficult monsters could be included?
