ok ime planning to get 99 hunter (hooray for me) and ime planning to get to lvl 80 and catch red chins to 99, how many can i catch in an hour with unbated 5 traps and how long hourwise to catch 41.6k of them?

Start catching from when you get 63. From 63 -> 99 you will get around 30k -> 35k chinchompas, meaning you will go over 99 by quite a way.

 

 

 

5 Traps, about 200 per hour? Maybe more. I haven't hunted recently so I can't say an accurate number and it all depends on a lot of factors really.

I catch 220/hour with 72 hunter, spirit larupia, hunting off one spawn. Look for zarfot's vid on youtube to see how to do it, I really like it as you wont have to deal with the crowds.

 

That 220/hour figure should improve noticably after 80, as you'll be able to use an extra trap.

Thanks I'm 71 hunter myself and wanted to know some numbers. 220*265 (right), thats pretty close to red sally's (60-80k an hour if I recall correctly). To the OP, I wouldnt start at 63 like the other one suggested,wait at least for 70, maybe 80.
