pvp loot

Featured Replies

im puzzled on how the loot system on pvp worlds work. i read the updates but im confused.

i went pking today with one of my pures and i killed a bunch (like 3 in a row and there noobs and 1 tried to pj me) and i got their loot but the loot was only their food and maybe a str pot or something.

im f2p btw. i understand the loot is terrible but wat how can u get decent loot?

If you and your opponent have more then 25k's worth of items on them while getting killed, then you have a chance of winning random items. Those items can be just about anything. What determines what items you get is the impressiveness of a kill, where you were fighting, if you've been in a hot spot a lot, and how often you get good pk's.

That's basically it.

EDIT - Signature far exceeds our sig limits but since it's so colourful you can keep it.

k so i have a 30k rune scimmy and inventory full of lobbs with maybe runes and str pot and might be 2h there. i am fighting another pure i guess. so we have more then 25k. now killing someone in a hotspot i get it... now wat do they mean by impressive kill? does jagex monitor ur screen and say that guy got pwned lets give him a good reward. i think not. wat is an impressive kill?

lol, I'd laugh if Jagex just had to look at screenshots and decide whether noobs got pwned or not . . .

No one's quite sure, but it depends on a variety of factors. Level in relation to you, value of items, food/pots, whether you've been in a safespot for a while, etc. I know that there are several factors that contribute to it. Basically, more risk=better fight.

Apparently, the biggest factor is how long you've been outside of a safe zone, especially in a hot zone. That appears to be the main factor in determining the 'impressiveness' of the kill.

Provided he is risking over the limit, yes.

you need a 25k in items outside of your top 3 regardless of having a skull
