November 6, 200817 yr Well, I was thinking whether I should block Black Dragons. Their Defence is so high that I hit about 1 in 5 with Range (lvl 77, 88 with Ranging Potion) and it just makes for a highly inefficient task, even if it gives a fair bit of cash. November 6, 200817 yr You should kill them in the chaos tunnels (babies) or block them otherwise I personnaly dislike the babies and have them blocked. November 6, 200817 yr Once you get higher levels it makes meleeing KBD with your slayer helm a heck of a lot easier. Even though regular black dragons take a long time to beat down, keep in mind they are each worth 5k (bones+d'hide) plus whatever else they drop... You have to keep in mind too, though, that because of the speed I'm killing them at, it's inefficient because I can make money faster anyway.
