November 20, 200817 yr Flowers.. so original ;) Yeah they look alright to me but I don't know anything about photography so I'm not really a reference. Maybe try playing a bit more with the picture afterwards, and find more interesting stuff. November 20, 200817 yr Lookin' good :) A few comments/suggestions: #1 I like this one, but I think it could have been framed better. I would have moved forward or to the side so that the flower pedal on the right wasn't in the image. With close-up flowers especially, you want to clearly single out your subject. I think we can all agree that you're focusing on the flower in the middle, so try not to cut it off or have things blocking it. #2 I really like the colour in this one :) My main critique is that it's too crowded :( Since it seems like your camera cannot obtain a shallow depth of field to blur out the background flowers (I may be wrong, but I get that impression), I probably would have found a pink flower on its own, rather than one grouped with at least 3 others. It looks like there may be a few in the background, but I could be wrong. #3 I like the colours here too, but I'm not really a fan of the subject. It's almost hard to tell what it is. But I do like that you were able to get more of a blurred background (due to the fact that the objects in the bg were farther away). November 20, 200817 yr Author Thanks Tripis :) I really should get a new Camera, though. It is only 3 Mega Pixels, has a tiny screen, and is four years old. Meh, if I don't get one soon, it won't be the end of the world. It still takes decent photo's :) Next time I shoot (Probably tomorrow night), I'll take that into consideration :) My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
November 20, 200817 yr I would rather get a new camera than a tablet. On trademe you can pick up an alright tablet for about 69 bucks but your camera is kinda struglling on the crappy little 3mp mark. This means it packs a lot less detail per punch. Just to let you know, anything over 7mp is plenty.

Can't wait to see more of your shots :) - 99 fletching | 99 thieving | 99 construction | 99 herblore | 99 smithing | 99 woodcutting - - 99 runecrafting - 99 prayer - 125 combat - 95 farming - - Blog - DeviantART - Book Reviews & Blog

But with the Economy at the moment, and I can get driving lessons next year, my dad is skeptical towards getting one. BUT, when I was in Melbourne I just found out that he used to be a Photographer, and he would take pictures of trains, and get them on the Front Cover of a magazine. That might help with buying a new camera, hopefully :anxious: My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
November 20, 200817 yr If you do get a camera, go to google and search "Camera and Camera". It is a New Zealand owned shop which sells cameras $50-$100 cheaper than electronic stores. They have a shop over in the city, if you want to find that out. For you, I would recommend making the leap from Crappy 3MP Bridge cmaera to a full-time Digital SLR. Try this one, but don't buy it until you have tested it. This camera is the cheapest thre, comes with a lens and an extra battery and a 4gig card. http://www.camera-camera.com/default.as ... roduct=765
November 21, 200817 yr Author Thanks greatly for that link Shiny :) I'll see if I can work some agreement with my dad. Probably half/half, or something similar :) If anything, it would be for Christmas. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
November 21, 200817 yr Author Ha! That will improve my chances of getting a new one! Oh, when we were in Melbourne, dad and I were drooling over some Canon D-SLR worth about $2500 NZD. He said that he would love to own a D-SLR, so maybe... *Gets hopeful and has thoughts of owning it* \ Thanks again Shiny. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have bothered thinking about a new camera! ;) My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
