Well, I haven't had a chance to make any Graphics because of study, but I have been revealing some stress by photography. I have taken these images recently, all around my house. I'm going to Melbourne soon too, so maybe I can find something interesting to capture, and post.

 

 

 

Anyway, here are my images. The flower one is really the best, hopefully I can find something to capture in the Weekend, or even tonight.

 

 

 

Well, I recently read the manual, learning how to use the features properly instead of taking "snapshots". These are what I have. Me thinks they are goods :)

Well, the first thing I notice is that you don't have it focused on the cat. :|

Most of these are really blurry, badly focused and the lighting sucked. It may be your camera, but if not, when you take photos of your cat, put on the tulip button. It focuses much better at close distances. 10cm. The last one is the best, but it is still really really boring. Reason being? A dull angle and it is centered. Go for the Ro3rds to create better photos.

I see what you guys mean, surprised I didn't pick it up myself. Going to use the Rule of the Thirds now, so thanks Shiny :) Are these better, these were taken last night...

 

 

 

With the first one, I am aware of the Flower in the Fore Ground, and the purple ray of light near the top. Actually, there will not be a second one, I just looked at it, and it is blurred...

Are you using a DSLR, regular SLR or just digital?

 

 

 

Rule of thirds doesn't work so well on digital ;)

 

 

 

Only really on full manual cameras, not bad but could definatly do with some work :P

I wouldn't call myself a Photographer, but more like an amateur one. I'll Google those terms now.

TBH these aren't even amateur shots. Just something you took around the house.

 

 

 

The last one is better, detter depth and angle. The colours are still quite horrible though and the lighting is quite dull.

This is something that I took this morning, but I wasn't sure about posting it. But after recieving a comment on dA, I feel that I should post them. I took Rot3 into consideration on the second one.

That dirty glove really is dirty!And its color underneath made it look dirtier :lol:

 

 

 

Nice though,I like how the light is catched (caught) on it.

Dragoonson, what are you going on about?

He's talking about manually changing shutter speeds, F/s (is that what its called? Sorry i'm no photographer) and the like to get what you want. That is, instead of using the generic "landscape" "portrait" "auto" options.

Colours are still pretty bland, though are all much better. They are focused a lot better, have interesting deoth and angles. THey are much better but you might want to touch them up (No filters otherwise they are photo-manips) in Gimp. All you need to do is hit the "Brightness/Contrast" button. I believe it is still your photo, because you can do that kind of thing in the darkroom when you use film.
