Tanking Aviansie

Recommended Posts

I need recommendations on what level to start, and what to bring.

My spending budget is very low (because I happen to be rather poor in Runescape :P)

so please try and give me alternatives which are cheap.

One thing is a must though, and that is that I require 1 item which is Saradomin, Zamorak, and Armadyl ::)

I have currently been praying down there (for two trips)... but I'd like to try tanking.

Stats are in signature.

Regards

I advise you get 70+ defence, 60+ prayer and 75+ range.

Then you'll need an armadyl item such as the pendant.

It's advised that you wear zammy and sara too. Items are easily obtainable.

Best of luck!

OK, thanks Mylez :)

I will work on my defence soon, ranged should be easy enough, and prayer will cost money but it will be towards a good cause :P

Thanks for the help people

EDIT: Can I ask what the benefit of raising my prayer would be for tanking? (I really am new to all this kind of stuff :P)

Regards

I was just wondering how well I can tank aviansies, since it's been a long time since I have last played. And I have never visited God Wars Dungeon. My stats are:

Hit Points: 79

Defence: 73

Range: 81

There's a screenshot of my items below

I just don't have an idea of their damages etc.

Please don't hijack threads, but if he had the cash, I would have suggested the helm...

Anyway..

Shield > Granite Shield

Ring > Ring of Life (few drops, wealth is pointless, life is safety)

Boots > Climbing boots/Bandos (take both, you need more melee defense)

And they don't hit often, with a max of 9 (if you don't attack the level 131/148).

You don't need melee defense at all. You need range defense.
