It was jsut recent. According to the forum mod on RSOF, it changed when the quest symbol over explorer jack's house appeared.... :o I cant bother making another account just to see the island. Pictures please! I would post pictures, but I can't run Runescape in HD anymore. Unless of course, you would want standard detail pics, which I can bring you. Otherwise, we need someome else to post some pics...
November 10, 200817 yr I think they might have changed it because the plans for the new tutorial were taking more time than Jagex had expected them to take. If that is so, it would be logical to 'just' update tutor island, because that is the first place new players see. And if you don't like what you see at first, I think some people quit runescape after, what?, 5 minutes of playing? That'd sure be a waste of accounts :P I think that might be a reason to give tutor island some new graphics :) dragon drops: 2h, Med (x4), spear (x3), legs (x3), skirt, left halfbarrow drops: 45+ GWD drops: 1x steam, 1x bandos plate, 1x tasset, 4x shardproud owner of the Quest Cape since March 28th 2008 - [554/555 songs unlocked]99 cooking on April 5th 200899 magic on June 29th 2008 Dog to 100% (full grown) at 2nd day of Summoning! :)

I myself quit Runescape after getting to the woodcutting/firemaking/fishing part of the tutorial when I first started like 4 years ago (before coming back like 6 months later) lol. However, it could alo be for some other reasons, so Im still going to be optimistic about it having some future implication.
