Ouchy
About a few weeks back, I posted a topic request assistance, as my Laptop sound was playing up. Today, I fiddled round with various settings, and I managed to get it working again! Anyway, when I first used it again, I found that the right speaker was not playing. I tried to increase the volume for that speaker, and it did nothing. I then plugged in my head phones, and music was coming out clearly on both head phones. Would this mean that I have blown out the right speaker? Is there anyway to fix it? Quick Summary if you are lazy: [*:7yszxkf0]Got sound working again [*:7yszxkf0]Tried it for the first time in months [*:7yszxkf0]Found that the right speaker didn't work [*:7yszxkf0]Plugged in headphones, music came out both ear buds [*:7yszxkf0]Is there a way to fix it, or are they blown out? My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

sloter
Depends i know one of my laptops the back panel lifts right off after unscrewing. On my other laptop there is a entire complex process. So it really depends.
MrBowser
I'm going to go right ahead and say.... No. It could be very difficult to fix your speakers. The best you could hope for would be a lose wire you could solder or plug back in. I recently toke my laptop apart, and noticed that the speakers were damn near inaccessible. I'd bring it into a shop to get it repaired, if I were you. That's what it takes to be a hero, a little gemof innocence inside of you that makes you wantto believe that there still exists a right and wrong, that decency will somehow triumph in the end.--Lise Hand
Ouchy
I wouldn't have the nerve or skill to possibly re solder it, or anything like that. I think I'll just get the shop to do it ;) My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.
