tintin113
A while ago I ran into these covers on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w94_eIpR ... xt_from=PL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3po_jKau ... xt_from=PL I was amazed by the skill and the sounds created. It really brought another dimension to the song! Then recently I found the following on Youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pTSnhBOaknM&watch_response A string quartet of "Through the Fire and Flames," the song made famous to most through it's infamous position as the hardest song on Guitar Hero 3, played by the fastest band in the world - Dragonforce. The quartet who played this are the Vitamin String Quartet who have a few albums and cover many modern popular songs. Have any of you heard of anything else like these? If so please post them here because I'm sure I'm not the only one who wants to hear more! Thanks to Quarra for the awesome sig!Xbox360 Gamertag = Tintin113
Skull
I've known about them for a month or two now and I've been nothing but impressed. I think a found out about them from watching Apocalyptica videos on youtube. Impressive how you can emulate a variety of different instruments with only string instruments.
