Hmmm I just came across a thought today, Now do you all remember the Guaranteed content poll that came out this year and asked us about Chirstmas event? Well one of the options and a leading one was a reindeer pet. Well this got me thinking... what if jagex sometime down the road decides to give f2p some pet of some sorts and even more incentive to become membs and as an advertisement for the summoning skill.

OT:yeah I think a pet would be a fair incentive to buy membership :) Of course that would probably lead to more and more demands leading to....every skill becoming partialy f2p :?

Jagex does that a lot, so maybe. Personally though, I think it would be more effective to all pets in F2P worlds, while maintaining members only qualities.

Doesn't matter what someone demands unless they pay for it and there is a large enough demand to supply.

 

 

 

Great idea and I know Jagex has already thought about it. The Easter event -08 is an example of Jagex showing how Summoning is to F2pers. Have a permannent pet and it's only one pet, people will become bored with it and want more. To get more they subscribe and some of the "noobs" move to P2P. :mrgreen: :P

Hmm... personally I really don't think the santa suit is a good holiday item. You wanna be Santa? Get a hat...

 

 

 

As for having a pet, I could care less.

I suppose it is some sort of advertising, so are stray dogs. But everyone hates stray dogs. :ohnoes:

There is a possibility that they'll give the reindeer to members and santa suit to F2Pers. Remember the event where Members received Wintumber (sp?) trees while F2Pers received a reindeer hat?
