agility involved in combat

Featured Replies

i think it would be good if the agility could play a bigger role in combat so if you were high agility you could sometimess dodge the attacks, so it would be like defense.

although its a nice idea for members, it would totally disadvantage f2pers who are already at a disadvantage due to the superior weapons, armour and training abilities of the p2pers.

Actually P2P is the real game, F2P is just a demo. Being able to train skills in nonmembers and making good money in it is already a big deal.

I would love to see agility actually affect anything in the normal gameplay. I had an idea that people will be able to jump with a keyboard button, low agility woun't even get you over a rock while extreme agility levels will make you jump over rivers and gigantic gaps with some summersaults (sp?), quadtwists and whatnot. This would make you able to run away from pkers or jump over your enemies :D .

Very wrong. There are way to many people who actually think this. Let me set you straight. f2p=game base, p2p=expansion, benefiets, etc. f2p is the main part, with p2p being the extra stuff. Not the other way around. In no way is f2p a demo. It just seems that way with all teh extra stuff p2p has, which they deserve, since they are paying $5 a month on an internet game.

Ok back to the topic. That would make sense for agility to affect your defm but it would be difficult to balance, especially with f2p, though it would be easy enough to negate the effect when in f2p worlds. As for the sumersaults and stuff you mentioned, i think there should be more emotes like that that require high lvl agility to unlock.

People really need to stop saying p2p has an advantage over f2ps because of equipment. if a p2p went to a f2p with a set of dragon armor and took on a f2p with rune the f2p would easily win everytime, so stop saying that.

also this wont hapen because then it would affect your cambat lvl and you cant be lvl 100 in p2p and only lvl 95 in f2p.

I like that idea. But since it would have to affect the combat lvls I don't think we'll see that before rs3.

It wouldnt have to affect your combat lvl, it could just add an invisible boost to your def, like your magic lvl does to your def against magic attacks
