  1. it wouldnt be a bad update to make stackables combine, but why dont you just right click and choose what to pick up?
  2. ive been pure f2p for almost 5 yrs, and i have a lot of respect for high level f2pers and members alike. The autoer/cheater problem on f2p is annoying, but its something you have to deal with, ive been trying to prove myself for 5 yrs... not sure ive done it yet.
  3. i like the idea. But whats the difference between the basic pigeon and the more expensive ones?
  4. phats are tradeable... But i know what you mean, i have my Bunny Ears, they kinda already prove ive been on a long time. Still, i understand what you mean by something signifying the really old school peeps.
  5. It has already been mentioned that only a limited fletching skill is being asked for here, therefore magic trees wouldnt be needed. The f2p fletching would just need some flax fields somewhere on the map and thats it, as far as i know. Of course, as a f2per with no experience of fletching im slightly biased, but i dont see much argument against f2p except the one i stated above and the typical "YOU DONT PAY SO YOU DONT GET!" mindlessness.
  6. Definately mining then smithing. my mining is still my highest skill at 74, i didnt do any firemaking until fairly recently.
  7. Probably a rune (t) helm from a guy who fell foul of a water troll thingy. Foolish man.
  8. One of the reasons i can see why we dont have f2p fletching is: what use will it have after f2pers reach the highest level to which they can make arrows/bows? For example, if they are allowed up to making addy arrows... what happens after that? Thats why f2pers can make all the way up to rune plates with smithing, because that way each level counts. Each other skill has a use all the way up to 99, but fletching would become pointless after you acquire the level needed to perform the top f2p fletching skill. I entirely support the idea of allowing f2pers to have fletching skills (I posted here a few months ago with the very same ideas!!) it is wrong that mages can make runes, warriors can make armour but rangers are left relying on the p2p market. But there are operational problems that would need to be addressed before the skill could be successfully implemented into f2p.
  9. Exactly... but why? is it so you can show other people? or just so you can see it in your bank and go... "heck... thats a lotta' 'ammers"
  10. there is a certain tipit mod that collects hammers :-w :-$ Yeah, thats what got me thinking :-k Burnt fish seem to be popular. probably because of the amount people create whilst upping their cooking skill, might as well do something with the waste items.
  11. Ive been wondering... Do you think there would be a market for hideous amounts of entirely useless stuff? Say, for example, that i had 100k hammers, do you think that i could sell that for a fair price to someone who would like the novelty? (Incidently, i dont have 100k hammers ) I'm just curious if anyone has experienced this kind of sale, have you sold 200k spades for several million? ever had anyone try to sell you 3M wizard hats?
  12. essentially, you make a new character, discard all items you get from tutorial island. head straight for the farm between lumbridge and varrock. There you pick up an egg. From that single egg you must trade up and up and up and up till you become hideously rich and retire in your mansion full of phats and god armours. im at... 1k. It takes mammoth merchanting skills, you need to know a bargain when you see one. And you have to be a bit of a charmer  but its fun. heres the original thread: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=567243
  13. Wow! thats really good! I added you a few days ago, but you havent been on. any tips?
  14. i started on about 2 days ago and now i have 1k and a bank full of random useless items (grain, bronze daggers, 8 air runes). Things can only get better... RSN: eggion
  15. i was only really charging 10gp to see how the buyers reacted, im sure a better price will be negotiated.
  16. I started off saying: "Trading... anything for this chicken egg!" and "who will help a poor green haired monk?" (Ive got a green monk hairstyle) But now ive got a bit of money ive moved onto normal merchanting speak: "Selling airs 20ea" so far: Egg Bronze Scim Iron Scim Iron Chainmail 200gp 20 airs 18 airs and 40gp - this is where i am now. As i say, pm me if you have any tips on places to go, good things to trade in or if you're just bored and want to natter. lol 8-)
  17. So far: Egg bronze Scim nothing... people just dont want bronze scims.. EDIT! i stand corrected, just traded an iron scim for my bronze one... \ Add me if you have any tips or want to know how im fairing. RSN: Eggion.
  18. Ive tried this last night and today. It works well if the maths can be done in a second, so ive been selling for 10gp each, they can sell at the store for no less than 45gp (from what i can tell) but theres still not enough buyers to make it efficient. This probably needs to go on the members board. Maybe itll be more popular tonight.
  19. I dont know exactly. I have bunny ears so its more than 3 years, but i remember it being quite a while before i got them. I'm gonna go for 4 years.
  20. already there dude, its going well... ive been asking for 10gp each but people usually give more. Itd be nice to get a few more buyers down here though!
  21. I love this idea, and id be willing to charge a pittance for my lobbies! ill be on world 126 soon, just gotta get lvl 40 rc.
  22. this would be really unbalanced, a weapon thats both quick and strong would make all other weapons obsolete. Sorry, but this is just too unbalancing.
  23. this would make for some very angry skill pures. its a nice idea, but the way that runescape has evolved i cant see this crossing over of 2 skills occuring.
  24. Hey, i know this isnt a normal kind of help post. Its been a while since ive been on runescape and therefore a while since ive been on tipit but one post from a while ago stuck in my mind. It was a guy who was trying to get to 99 mining using only rune ess, hed got up to about lvl 70 when i lost track of the post. I was just wondering if the topic is still floating around (ive searched) or how he did? As a miner myself i was interested in his plight. hope someone knows how he did. ta!
