Altkill
OK, In light of my new shading skills (thanks guys), I've decided to make a sig for myself to replace the auful Buddy Kit version I have now, this is my idea; I am going to have myself, sitting behind a PC outdoors (to mimic an artist painting a picture on a canvas). I don't know if this idea hasn't been thought up before, I just thought of it this morning, at the moment I don't have a clue what should be in apart from me and the PC, so I would like some ideas as to what I shall include. This will be the biggest thing I've done (to you guys it will b a walk in the park), I wan't honest CC, good Advice, and even better Ideas. I will edit this post with my current status, but I will post all updated pictures in new posts when replying to someone, so you can see how I'm getting on. The picture size is 200x100. ------ Current Status: Collecting Ideas - I would appriciate some good ideas to use for the majority of the picture, please post no matter how absur the idea, but be aware I can only fit so much in a picture. Altkill
Wether sarcastic or not (sometimes I can't tell, you do sarcastic so well :P ) that is good, I wan't to put a lot of things in. EDIT: I've had anothe idea, what do you guys think of me sitting behind a canvas with a mouse on a mat on a self beside it, there'll be a little pen icon on the canvas and the start of a drawing, pehaps a keyboard beside me with my hand on Ctrl + Z? venomai
Here are some ideas, hopefully you can let creativity get the better of you! Biomechanical bannanas Deadly cows (they will rebel one day!) Robotic clowns 3 legged ninja The Grim Reaper muncing on his Captain Crunch cereal. A cutiepootatie little chibi with a big knife. A devilish rubber ducky A mechanical rubber ducky A giant ogre/orc/etc. flirting with a regular sized woman. Love at first sight! :) Or you can be boring/unoriginal/pathetic and do a wildy scene with a guy's head rolling on the ground. :(

venomai
Whats a "cutiepootatie little chibi with a big knife."? Duh! Cute little pootatie with a big knife, in chibi form (super-deformed). Anyways, the update isn't bad but its very small. Looks like it could get busy once you complete the shading/colours. Why not space it out or make it larger? Altkill
Kingcomet, be my guest. Venomi, I know what you mean, I'll do this one, then probably make a new one that shows the best ideas but bigger.
Random
hehe... i know this is still in progress, but i don't know if you notice or not, the telephone pole and wires just stoped at where the cat is. If not maybe draw another pole or two so it runs across the whole sig? :P

terley
I like the idea, but you can do it. Just a little advice, cus its very small you may wanna pick up some tips from people who are used to doing similar pictures, maybe someone who's used to doing backgrounds it may help. The reason I say this is because you'll end up with tiny people and objects in the background will look too small to see the detail, maybe loosing solid black lines will help you achieve a detailed 200x100 picture. Well im gonna trust that you know what your doing and maybe you'll someday be a great pixel artist. atb ~ Ter
