baileydafrog
hi guys, i logged out before for my tea, did it properly, to my surprise when i logged back in i was in fally about 13m worse off with just 3 items left, i was just at the basement bank in lumby when i logged, none pvp world, a friend tells me when i said brb my account didnt log off for a couple of minutes, is it possible after i logged, like a second later i got attacked by a random, which slowly killed me before it had properly logged off? as the log off button wrked i definately wasnt under attack as i logged :S this isnt a rant or anything, would just like to know that possible, my bank has no pin an nothin has been taken, and the fact it didnt log me off on her friends list makes me think this, hey, if ya gonna die, make it as stupid as possible :D
Kellis
It's possible that a random popped up and engaged you in combat . . . and then you died. It seems highly unlikely, if you weren't actually DOING anything (no actions/clicking), but I guess it's possible. I suppose now at least you've got a story to tell. baileydafrog
i was superheating, but as i'd run out of pray from random, i went to the church, came back and possibly clicked on the bank to get all my stuff out to carry on, nothing else :S ah well, these things happen, time to earn it back
Dexek
Sorry to hear about the loss, but as the other poster said it was likely a random. I know that on one or two occasions my account did not log out properly as well. Although, both times I did not encounter a random, but remember my friend telling me that after I said my good-bye's that I was still logged in, but would not reply. Best of luck making your losses back. PoetryIndexed Picture 1Indexed Picture 2 Killed my maxed Zerker pure April 2010 Rebooting Runescape

cat666
I remember this happening to one guy when I was slaying at Basilisks, dwarf appeared and kept hitting him until he died. This was way before the graves though and I got all this (at the time) great stuff. I got his name though and when he reconnected I paged him that I had his stuff and he said he'd logged out too. I gave him all his stuff back and he didn't even let me keep one piece of the stuff. I thought this was a bit harsh seeing as I rescued it all and banked especially. He wouldn't have known who got his stuff and would have had a big loss if I hadn't have saved it. Trust the Gene Genie!

Dragon plate legs for some reason were there. I'd have thought that would have been one of the 3 "saved" items. Trust the Gene Genie!
