Fit off its a Linksys, and I already know it sucks but it was free. The problem I am having is that It will allow me to connect to the network on both computers, one is wired the other is wireless, but neither of them can access the internet. I've tried reseting it and it still won't work. It worked fine in my aparment, but it won't work here at my parent house. So, does anyone know how I canfix his anoyance, aside from getting a new router.

You need to put in the information given by your ISP to the router before you can access the internet.

Tomato is a free installation that allows you to track bandwidth and switch frequencies to avoid interference. Anyways, does the computer at least recognize the wireless? Or is it not there at all?

If you don't know the credentials, but your parents' house has a modem with an Ethernet plug, you could daisy-chain the Internet connection to the Linksys router.

I read the post as if he tested the router at his home first with his settings, and then went over to his parents house and kept the changes instead of entering the things his parents were given by their ISP.
