Some new photos. These were salvaged from my memory card and were the only decent ones which wern't broken (Due to water damage....long story).

 

 

 

I've had a bit of fun playing around with them, mostly made them black and white with one colour sticking out. I wouldn't call it photomaniping, as you can do all of this in a darkroom (Or adobe lightroom)

Anyway..

 

#1. Nice, but the lightning is too bright, and it is slightly blurred

 

#2. Cute, but not artistic

 

#3. It's alright, but I feel it would be better if the focus point on the hammer was slightly closer

 

#4. Quite artistic, but the lighting is only slightly poor

3 is best IMO, good blur IMO.

What camera are you after? I'm thinking of getting one second hand.

I think I might get one second hand too. Probably a Sony A200, or a Canon 350/400d second hand. Maybe an Olympus, but I'm not so keen on one of those. You?

Yeah, same for me. Watching both of the Canon's now :P

 

I have an Olympus camera that is 7.1 MP (But no manual feature ) and I find it fine.
