December 9, 200817 yr Thanks for looking! I'm trying to do the task to finish the diary up, but it's not working. With mangled bones, arctic logs, a knife and an axe, I go to "construct pyre" at the spot by the whirlpool. The demon guy pops up, but i get no credit. I tried both simply clicking "construct" and "use arctic logs on"... Nothing! Please help!

December 9, 200817 yr Author In Diary it is labeled as "barbarian pyre"; nothing about proper. Others have successfully used the mangled bones.

December 10, 200817 yr Yes, mangled bones also work at the spot near otto (I also didn't get the credit at the spot near the whirlpool) easiest way to get mangled bones is killing the confused barbarian straight south of the primary staircase and straight west of the staircase to the mith drags.
December 10, 200817 yr Author I did it 6 times, changing west and east, "using" logs vs. other method. It finally worked; I'm not sure why.
