Right now, i'm almost leaping out of my chair in hope.

Its sad to say, that i want to play RSC again and i thought my account was lost forever. However, i went to the RSC page and i hear stories of people logging in years later and their RSC account is still active. I didn't believe it until i saw with my own eyes someone who had not logged in for 3 years, wowza.

Now, i'm pretty down, and sad, because i remember the RSC days and how fun it was. Problem was that, i remember jagex posting something like this when they made RS2 "Transfering your account will permanently make you RS2 and your account in RSC won't be blah blah blah or something."

Then i hear that someone has their account linked or something, level 132 main and level 3 in RSC, i'm like wtf..... So i try as hard as i can, and i try to remember the dumb password i made when i was 7. I know what it was, but it won't let me log in and i'm thinking that its because i've been inactive for so long and only lucky people got away with it.

Then i have this crazy idea, maybe the password i changed it to in RS2 changed the RSC password as well... that would make sense since if i wanted to recover a RSC account, i'd have to use my account and stuff. And i try it, and this Appears "You need a members account to login to this world." I'm pretty hopeful, then i try my newest account i've made (around 3 years ago) and it gives the same message, so i know there is easily a chance i don't have a RSC active account.

So i need to know 2 things:

1. Do you need a members account to login to RSC?

2. Is what the level 132 claimed possible? That your account you transferred to RS2 still able to login in RSC?

If this is in the wrong section, i'm sorry, but not many people look in the RSC section....which is what i infer this belongs to, move it if i've surpassed my tip.it rights :?

Your not able to log in even if you know the password because the account needs to be a member.

The 132 claim is possible because I had a level 95 (forgot password... :()which had a level 3 classic account which I was going to make into the prefect staker.

A while back, im not sure when, about 18 months or so, jagex stopped new rsc accounts from being created. Also, they disabled any account that had been inactive for, i think 6 months. They also disable any accounts that are active if they fall inactive for a few months, so if you haven't played in a while, you're out of luck, and can't make a new account. As for the members thing, i don't know, i think f2p can still play.

For the other question, i believe that accounts where transferred to rs2 in the way that, any stats from your rsc acc were carried over, and from then on they're seperate. I have a 136 rs2 acc, but am lvl 3 on rsc.Totally seperate, aside from that one moment of merging databases a long long time ago, before i played.

One more question, is the password you log into RSC the same as the one in RS2? Or do i really have to gamble membership.

Epic faill-carson says:

the first time i loged

Epic faill-carson says:

it was 489 days stnce last on

i thought too...i forgot to look how many days my character had in that screen but im pretty sure it was last logged somewhere spring 2005 and yet still it got access to rsc after almost 2 years...im going to try my other character later which was also in rsc around same time to see if i can play it still since it was better character.

So im quite sure that if character was playing RSC somewhere 2005, it still have access there.

I have 4 accounts that came from RSC. >.<

I'm 114 in RS2 but I can still log into RSC. I'm like lvl 3 or 4 (Can't remember) In RSC but I can still get on it. And yes you do need to be a member to log in and I believe you use the same password as the rs2 account.

Thank you both for your inputs, and omg 11-- days?!

Can anyone confirm that the password you use is your RS2 password?

is for me

This thread got my hopes up. Tried it with my current password, and I got the message that that account is not a RS classic account. Tried it with other passwords in case I got it wrong, and it just said invalid password.

I'm so sad.
