I believe for most attack styles its either 3 or 4 xp to that stat and 1 xp to hit points per damage done

per 1 in a splat, you gain 4 xp in the skill it's focussed on, and 1.33 xp in hitpoints, unless you're on controlled, then it's 1.33 shared equally between attack, defence, str, and hitpoints. Same with magic and ranged.

A few exceptions, some bosses give slightly more than 4, some quest monsters and random events less, but 90% of the time that's the case.

1.33 XP * the amount hit= Hitpoint XP.

You get 1.33exp for hitpoints for every damage you do to a monster.

You also get 4exp each hit for your 3 combat stats if you're using melee combat, and depending on what attack type you use (attack, strength, or defence)

You don't, and can't get hitpoints exp for getting hit.

For example: a monster has 50hp. You kill it, and in total, you get 66.5exp for hp.

You will also get 200xp for either your attack, defence or strength skills depending on your attack type.
