Blade's return to Runescape

About Me: [hide=]My name is Chris, I'm 19 years old. I started playing right before RSC ended. I took about 2 years off because I was playing WoW and I got bored of that and decided I wanted to come back and try all of the new updates that I had missed out on while I was away. I'm in college working on my Associates degree in Business Administration and work part time at a restaurant to have spending money. I have a girlfriend who I've been with for 6 months, and I only play videogames when I get some spare time or become bored. I like to listen to music, cook, hang out with my friends, build stuff, camp, rollerblade, go to the movies, among other things.[/hide]

 

 

 

I decided to make this blog after reading some of the other blogs on this board. Some of them are really interesting and brought me ideas for what I wanted to do when I started playing again. I was thinking what all types of goals did I want to accomplish while playing again. I don't really see myself ever playing the game hardcore again, but I figure I could still get some stuff done and have fun at a casual pace. Also please forgive me if this blog isn't visually appealing just yet, I plan to spend some time constructing it and reworking it to include pictures, and other stuff to make it look nice.

 

 

 

My goals: Well my ultimate goal is 99 Construction. The skill came out right before I quit playing and I never started it because of how expensive it was and I was working on another character at the time. The skill seems like a lot of fun and a challenge especially if you don't have a lot of cash to sink into it. It's also really useful for some of the funner aspects in the games such as Barrows, GWD, Slayer, etc.

 

 

 

I also want to get some other skills up to get the most enjoyment from all the benefits gained by having high level Construction. I'd really like to get high level Farming, Summoning, Herblore, and Magic, I really don't have a goal of 99 for these skills in mind though but possible later on down the road. I plan to make money first by slaying some dragons and raising my Ranged to 90.

 

 

 

Right now I'm currently cutting willows trees for 75 woodcutting, then fletching them into willow long bows and selling them. After that, I plan on spending the money on iron arrows and going to range blue dragons for cash. I know it's not the best money maker but it's fun for me and it was never crowded. I have to kill 3936 blue dragons to get lvl 90 Ranged. I'm going to do every lvl 3 clue I get along the way as well for fun and to give myself a break. I plan on getting this done within a month and a few days. This should net me about 15 mill from bones and hides alone. This will give me some seed money to start my other goals. I want get a couple of skills up and use my house to do fun things like Barrows and GWD which if I'm lucky will also provide me the cash to raise skills like Construction and Herblore. I'd also like to raise my Melee Combats up to 99 eventually and plan to level them through Slayer so it's fun but it's not really my main priority and it'd be nice to have 85 to slay abyssal demons for a whip every now and again.

Anyhow this is just a broad assessment of what I want to do. I'll post pictures of clue rewards, level ups, and rare drops as they occur. Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
