I connect to the internet, and everything will run fine for a few minutes. After that, everything starts getting really slow, then eventually pages stop loading. In Firefox it comes up with "*.com cannot be found", and in IE it says page cannot be displayed.

Well, have you done the usual? Done Ad-Aware, Spybot, antivirus searches?

Scanned for viri or spyware?

I've scanned for viri and spyware, and I don't think my ISP is having problems. I've got a few mates on the same one and they're fine.

Sounds to me like youve got a corrupt temporary internet file. Clear your entire batch of internet files and then try. It won't immediatly fix the problem but after the sites you visit often cache the process should speed up.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If your working on a wireless network try the Repair function on your wireless internet network. If that dosen't work in addition to the steps listed above try moving your "Base Station" closer to your computer.

Scan for viruses and spyware and if that doesn't fix the problem try changing your internet provider, some are just very slack and rip you off
